Featured Presentation Description: “How Bias Impacts Engagement”
Many institutions are challenged with addressing issues of diversity and inclusion and how to provide helpful training and insight to employees. An employees’ level of engagement can be impacted by a number of factors including unconscious bias. My training session on Examining Unconscious Bias will lead your group through a series of discussions and activities that will help them:
-learn about engagement
-examine how engagement impacts trust and relationship building
-define unconscious bias and examine how it impacts engagement
-learn ways to identify and address unconscious bias in the workplace.
The Unconscious Bias training is an active learning session intended to spark discussion and stimulate thought and self-reflection on personal actions and ways to address unconscious bias.
